Cut-Safe

Cut-safe is a knife and cutting board designed for the visually impaired. Visually impaired lack or have less visual sense. They use Spatial judgements to move around. It is found that over 58.7% of Visually Impaired undergo kitchen accidents involving knives.

Cut-Safe’s Key design feature include series of blades facing down to avoid accidents which are made out of ceramic. It has rubber barriers to protect fingers, magnetically detachable board, textured handle for grip and HDPE white board. Cut-safe is an experience with a simple design that ensures the safety and easy-uasge.
